Is it just me? or anyone else having trouble? I've tried copying THREE retail copies of BF2.. and keep getting errors (its NOT my computer) My personal copy got a scratch in it so I cant install from it any longer.. so I want a backup disc and image. These 3 BF2s were bought almost at the same time.. and from the same place.. they seem really CHEAP.. meaning after a little use.. they deteriorate. Anyone else experiencing this problem??? We supposed to just install a game once and then be ****ed or what ?

They put copy protection on the cd's so they couldnt be copied. If they didnt people would be copying em and selling em.

So like I said - Are we supposed to just install them once and then be totally fu cked? The discs are scratch prone.. this is NOT very cool. I like to reformat my computer on a tri-quad monthly basis... next time I do.. I can't install battlefield.. they expect people to pay for it all over again because they want to be di cks?

Well i use covers called D Skins. They fit right over the cd dvd or whatever and protects it from being scratched or having fingerprints on em. Look on www.D-skin.com/intro.

Yes it does.. but ya know what? the bastard software will make a 1:1 copy - but it wont create a damn image of the disc!! It stays at 0% for an eternity..Originally posted by frippleclone cd rocks....nuff said..

get yourself over the gamecopyworld.com and get a **** patch... then you dont need to copy your cd's i use me on all my games so i dont have to swap out cd's all the time and it cuts the initial loading time coz youre not waiting for the drive to spin up.
alcohol 120% and cd mate are better than clone cd imo too

i use Alcohol 120% for everything else... it refused to copy BF2 though. and the copy that CloneCD makes isnt playable - you can install the game from it.. but you would NEED the **** patch in order to PLAY the game

If you just want to play without putting a DVD in use Alcohol and mount a disc image.
1-Use the Image Making Wizard to make the image.
2-Click on the .mds file in the image folder to mount it, lauching the game.
3-Yer good to go!
Takes up a couple of gigs but you won't have to put the disc in again.
My original DVD has been durable but I've been careful with it. I just hate having to put a disk in all the time and I don't like the **** patches.
