ok i am new to online gaming so i have only just realised that online gaming is like any 'live' event sometimes you just have one of THOSE nights :cry:
I decided to share my pain as otherwise i was gonna keep shouting and my neighbours are getting annoyed! :hmm:
ok i have spent an hour and a bit trying to find a half decent game .....
server 1 : i was tk'd three times in quick succession about two secs after spawning by different members of my team who offered no explanation/ apoology or suchlike....................bye bye :cry:
server 2 : only about ten players on a 32 player map, by the time i got in they all had tanks/ choppers etc..........my round went spawn...die...spawn at another flag in front of a tankl....die......spawn elsewhere in front of a different tank.......die etc etc bye bye :cry:
server 3 i was shot 5 times in a row in the back when moving very near/ next to friendly flags bcause i stupidly figured that one of the four plus teamates nearby would have maybe been good enouh to point out the nearby tank/apc sniper etc (i spawned at different flags too)................bye bye :cry:
server 4: arrived found a tank and headed off, 'ah this is more like it ' having stayed alive more than my previous evenings best 5 secs..........saw an enemy base and trundled off to attack....arrived at the base to discover it defended by one sniper.....no match for my tank i thought..........until my commander then decided to drop arty right on top of me (which btw was sent after i arrived and was not my fault for missing my radar)...... :cry: bye bye :cry: (fecked off now)
ok patience now all but gone.....last go.....
server 5 : karkland 64 player server
..spawned ran about a bit to get rid of that 'just arrived' lag..saw an apc a fair bit off...called it out then llllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggg next thing i know i am watching the clouds float by :cry:
ok i admit that some of this is down to my system and some (a lot) is down to me being crap, but i did grab a couple of medals in my afterrnoons round so i have played before, no great achievement to most of you i realise but it hopefully shows i am not brand new to the game, but do the rest of you experience such times?
