Msi K8n Neo4 Sli Help With Onboard S/b Audio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyone here own this board and use the onboard sound for bf2? Ive read a bunch of things on Newegg.com that say the sound is good, but inadequite for BF2. Is this true, and what do they mean by this. I want to purchase this board, but the main selling point over the ASUS is the onboard Soundblaster as opposed to the Reatek ALC'97, which i can't stand. Please let me know if you can help me out with this.

i havent had a sound card for probably over two years. my mobo (Abit NF7-S) has onboard sound:
- 6-Channel AC 97 CODEC on board
- Professional digital audio interface supports S/PDIF Out
- NVIDIA SoundStorm with real-time Dolby Digital 5.1 encoder

i have found this to be more than adequate for every game i have played - you name it - BF1942, HL2, CS, RoN, etc. etc. i have played BF2 and found the sound to be totally adequate. maybe i am missing some echos or other environmental effects, i'm not sure - but i don't miss them. i also listen to alot of music through a logitech 4.1 system (yes, i could go to 5.1 but see no need for a center channel - small room, space, etc.) and it sounds great, i have no complaints. the next motherboard i buy when i move up to a 64 bit processor - i'll use the onboard sound there too. unless you HAVE to have the latest Audigy card 'just because' , i would save the money and stick with the onboard audio.
