I want an extra maps expansion !!

Within some months there will be the expansion pack SF, this will offer new maps but also a new gameplay.

What I want is an expansion with 10 extra maps in it, same gameplay and stuff (infantry, vihicles, weapons, ....) but just some more maps.
This is something EA/dice can make prety fast and doesn't have to cost much (25-30$) .

The problem is that he/she may want the maps on ranked servers, which a mod map can't be.

true, but maps made by the comunity, there will be like 1000 of them and like 980 of them won't be that good, most maps mady by people at home haven't got good balance.


And another thing, now we have those stats, will it be possible to run a map made by the comunity on a ranked server ? I don't think it will.

If the patch's follow the normal pattern we will get 2 or 3 additional maps via future patch's. I doubt we will see this though until we get to a patch version like 1.1
I can not see them adding new maps in 1.03 as that seems more like an emergency patch.

Mods will be the real way to get to play new maps as commuity created maps even if good just mean empty servers for any server running them as so few players bother to download them.

I want extra maps too and EA/Dice knows we all want more urban/city maps. SF should deliver that and I hope there's more Single Player features too, like a campaign mode for christ sake.

Yes, mods mods mods, I will tell youwhat will happen to the mod maps :

most of them aren't that good and the good ones will not have much succes because they can't be run on a ranked server, unranked servers have lots of difficulty to get players in
