Game crashes at 15%

I notice a lot of people are having this problem. So am I. And it happens no matter what I change in the mod.

I was wondering if this has something to do with compressing the game archives? Will a zipfile compressed with Windows crash the game for example?

Meg, you don't need to compress it yourself. Leave it all in the objects folder directory, then in the BF2 editor, go up to Mod > Package Mod (package the mod and any level you're working on too).

Put ur terrain to medium and package the changes up

run the game in window mode for a debugger, so it tells you whats wrong, and what causing it.

(add +fullscreen 0 after the .bf2.exe" in a shortcut)

Isn't there some sort of equivalent to BF1942's VideoDefault.con file for changing this?
