the Multiplayer menu is really laggy

Hi folks,
when i'm searching for a server to play, the menu is incredibly slow, and takes forever to update, but i've got a pretty fast internet connection so how could i improve the menus speed???, cheers

I have the 1.2 patch and I got 1 gig of ram, also the game runs fine, it just the server browsing that is slow

Just delete the moving picture in the background in bf2 files, it helped me a lot.
