Unfair boot

i was booted from a ranked server for punishing a TEAMkilling commander, he happend to be a clan member of that server

is there anywhere i can report this? i didnt even have TKs

he didnt kill me with art, i was running to save the home base, i was MEC, and he killed me, and he was hiding so im sure he had alot of time to look

so anywhere i can report this? i was waisting my time, and lost alot of points

and when art is on the way, i run the other way, even under enemy fire lol

EDIT: plus there was no rules at the load of the game that said TK punish = ban

they pay for the server so they can do what they like. it may not be right but it is their server, they can police it anyway they like.
there is no-one you can report this too, so forget it and get on with the game.

What makes you think you can report it? Just because its ranked? The fact that the server is ranked is completely independant from the clan that runs it. They run the server side, EA, just puts their stuff on there to send in the stats. It's not representing EA, and it's therefore not an official server, so no there's nothing you can do. Move on to one of the other 6,000 servers and live with it. If the admins on that server treat enough people like crap they'll get a bad rep and no one will go back there.

But still, where are people getting this idea that it can be reported? What sort of logic could lead to this conclusion? I've never seen this asked in any other game before BF2.

basically, YES. we all know its not right but there is nothing anyone can do about it. so move on and find another server, remember it is a game and is meant to be enjoyed, so dont take it all too seriously.
ranks and unlocked weapons dont mean a thing once you turn the PC off and go back to normal life.

When I play on a clan server, I don't punish clan members, since I am playing in their house. They usually are quick to apologize anyway, and in general do not tk on purpose. As far as I take it the punish system is there to punish people who intentionally tk you. Not for accidents or when you die along with 2-3 enemies.

They own the server. Nothing you can do. I got TK'd 3 times last night and I was pissed so when I got bombed by my own teammate I punished. I was grumpy. He was -8 -4 0 2 and kicked me for the punish because I told him to learn how to use the mini map. Oh well. Next server please.

I don't know about the origian poster, but I wasn't. There were 19/32, he just didn't like it when I told him to use the mini map. He had about 3 TK's and the game just started.

I kick people for just being stupid, I pay quite a bit of money for our ranked server, so if you spawn and come running up to me and steal the jet I've been flying all match consider yourself kicked.
