EA Europe Official #3 L1 Admin Recruitment.

I am the L2 admin for the EA Europe Official #3 Box and I am looking for a total of 15 L1 (Level 1) admins for the EA Europe Official #3 servers.

The current server set-up is 3 x 32 Player servers and 1 x 16 Player servers.

There are official servers run and maintained by EA.

L1 admins will have access to Warn, Kick and Admin chat on their server and will be responsible for keeping the servers a nice place to play. You don't have to be sat there in the server looking for stat padders. Just play on the server, have fun and deal with problems that might arise.

You don't need to have previous admin experiance to apply but it won't hurt. If you have had no experiance at all that is fine. The most important thing is that you are polite, friendly, mature and willing to help.

If you are not in europe the US servers will soon be making posts about recruitment. Just check their forums for details.

With all due respect what sort of admins are you going to get asking total strangers on a message board? we have all seen how badly the TK punish system works at the moment, this should clarify the need for trusted admins.
Having run servers in all games for many years, including this one, let me please at least attempt to give this word of warning: You will always have more complaints about admins then about trouble makers, but you really dont want to rush into anything you will regret later.

It takes weeks/months and years to get a good reputation as a server, and about 15 seconds to get a bad one when an admin goes haywire

but by then, everyone thinks your server is Rcon'd by annoying children and remove it from thier favourites. I hope for your sakes im wrong, but i have never seen anything so risky to do with a server in my life. Most people at least choose regular users off the server (after much observation) then at least you have a chance of them being behaved, but just check out half the threads in this forum, someone, somewhere thinks EVERYTHING should be kicked/banned at one point or another.

not just anyone can just become an admin, they need to be interviewed by an L3 in order to be admin, and is somethin goes wrong L2 gets the blame.

Just because you apply doesn't mean you are going to get it. I personally will check around to see what you are like. I will be checking what people are like on the forums, speak to them on msn and/or teamspeak and then they will probably have to have an interview with the L3 admins who were chosen by EA.

And about game monitor. That's an EA problem. The servers are located in the UK. It's just for some reason EA has them as US. Don't know why. It might be because of the way the stats system works or something.

I'm recruiting just for my own server. Other's will be recruiting for theres over the coming days.

I will start choosing my L1's over the next few days and will begin assigning them once BF2CC is fully operational.
