i'm planning to get BF2 , i have fx 5200 128m.b graphics card ,
ppl here say it'll run fine on low , so can any1 pease post a screenshot 4 BF2 on low settings so i can know what i'll be expecting , :)

hi I have the SAME vid card (NVidia FX5200 128mb) and there is my settings :
- Terrain : LOW
- Geometry : MED
- Effects : MED
- Lightning : LOW
- Dynamic Shadow : OFF
- Dynamic light : MED
- Textures : MED
- Texture filtering : MED
- View distance : 100%

i play bf2 on 6X AA, terrain, geometry and texture on medium.
everything else on low. My card is ATI x300...

thank u guys , i got BF2 and it's really great !
it run fine on lowest , when i increase setting i got ram problem ( 512 :P )
anyway i'll upgrade the ram soon :)

my system is :

AMD AthlonXP 2000+
1024MB DDR 333
GeXcube (or Gecube or whatever) radeon 9600XT 128MB
5.1 headset with usb soundcard with sonix 5.1 chip

i run game on high settings and textures on med and the other setting under it on med aswell (dont remember the name) and texture filtering on med aswell everything else is on high and at 800x600 (not bad on a 16" screen), and my fps are between 40 and 50 with alot of action around.

i dont get it why some ppl with systems alot better than mine are running on med and low settings sometimes :\

anyway i dont think the game looks so bad as ppl say on low :) not all of us have money or parents (if ur lucky) to buy amazing comps with amazing cards and stuff like that :P

i dont usually use AA i dont really care about it, friggin hell i still play quake 1 in software mode at 320x280 sometimes witha friend for hours to remember the old days :P
