Ok Im going into game and when I click log in it says server rejected me or something what the hell is this will I be able to play again? Is this because fat brother tked too much???? Why????

anyway, back on topic, i clicked join server, and a PB message pops up sayin i've been kicked due to excessive tk, while i've never even started to get in the game....

Yeah, I've been getting that "Connection refused by server" message intermittently all day.

And then when I do connect, half the time my stats are all messed up (like everyone has reported to death for weeks). Note: Today is the first time I have ever had that "Global Score = 1324292309823" glitch.

Something is definitely amiss at EA today.

Anyway, just keep trying. It's never taken me more than seven attempts to finally connect.

Well, I've been playing all night (see my post above), but I'm in the U.S. Maybe the European (et al) servers are completely down. <shrug>

Oh, definitely. The sad fact is that I can't play BF2 for more than an hour before the game crashes--usually to the desktop, but sometimes a hard crash. (This is Nvidia's fault, not Dice's.) So long story short, I have to login every hour or so. Again, today it's been glitchy, but it's been no more than 6 or 7 attempts before I finally connect.

Edit: Maybe my crashes ARE Dice's fault! Coincidentally, I just stumbled across this thread. And here the whole time I thought it was just me who crashed.
