seeing names as commander?

other than zooming way in on everybody, is there a way to see your teammates names on the commander screen?

I had some dude screaming at me to drop supplies, but he wasn't near his squad leader, and he never did a "i'm bingo on ammo". if he'd done that i would have seen his dot blinking right?
I suppose I could have zoomed in on every dot on the map, but I was busy commanding...
anyway, he's typing in that i should drop supplies but he wouldn't just tell me where the hell he was. then he starts a mutiny on me, so I quit.
