too bad more people just stop flying the regular flag capture them e and stop and gather in a big open space and have a huge knife fight -- yesterday i got on a server with just 4 other people and we were waiting from more people to come and out of boredom decided to have a knife fight -- that was the best time I had it in BF2 so far -- besides think about how quickly all participant would get knife badges if the server was running an actual game. whatcha think?

wow i should kick my own ass for the grammar -- anyway what i was saying -- regular match -- instead of shooting each other and running to get flags -- team on team (USMC vs. MEC) go at it in a knife fight. (just be careful not to tk)

When I was going for my expert knife on an all-Karkand server every so often I ran into a guy that wanted to knife fight me too. We'd be doing the usual run-in swipe run-out and all sorts of prone diving and stuff looking funny in the middle of all sorts of action. Since we yelled to the whole server (and the guy I fought was an admin) nobody killed us. Some even stood around watching the fight or knife fought amongst themselves. Once one of us died the rest of the server went right back to normal and gunfire would erupt again.

I dropped mid-round because my roomate tripped over the ethernet cord to the router though so I didn't get the badge that round :P

that sounds great man! thats what i am saying -- i was having a little blade action with this kid and her perched himself on top of a hummer so i rushed him, jumped and sliced and got the kill while he was still on the roof and thats where he stayed -- it was the nicest move ever.

I remember doing this sort of thing on Call of Duty. Lots of fun. On CoD however, you use your weapons to bash, which looks even sillier when a whole group of people is running into eachother trying to bash some heads in with grenades.

Yes....haha yes I know this. My favourite part of COD was masing a skull with a german grenade; this was often followed by the word 'owned'.

I hate the fact that it NEVER HAPPENS. Each time you pull out a knife the asswhipes just run around spraying their automatics like scared chicken. I ran into 3 guys, was gonna knife them, they all pinned me down with machineguns. 2 of them even stopped to reload.

Never have i once fighted a knife on knife battle that i started myself. If someone pulls knife, i answer with knife (or shock paddles )

God, i miss the old SoF2 days where the 2 last remaining guys would always knife together.

Still got the bashing fun in CoD though :)
