Vehicle bonuses with different classes

Medic in a vehicle = healing infantry men around him.
Engineer in a vehicle = repairing vehicles around him.
Support in a vehicle = rearming other vehicles.

I have seen a shield looking thing right by someone's name tag don't know what it is.
But my question is, what type of bonus if any do the other classes give when in a vehicle?

hes saying that medics can heal ppl around then while in a vehicle like the support has a ammo giving radius in a vehicle and the engineer has a repair radius. But classes like assault spec ops and sniper dont do anything but kill.
