unlocking weapons??

Hi, I am a newb to the game, and am I correct to assume that when you gain a rank ie private, You gain a new weapon?

you get a new unlock after private first class, your first unlock will be at lance corpral

you have to be promoted to lance corporal to get ur first gun unlock...u will br promoted to private first class b4 this but u will not get an unlock...after lance corporal though all promotions get u a gun unlock

So I assume the weapon is better from the unlock...like more powerful and stuff, etc.

So are these unlocked weapons used in the multiplayer game? Like people have more powerful weapons than others based on the amount of unlocked materials???

Please visit the Ranking FAQ thread I have linked in my sig. bb4srv, when you are in BFHQ and you see the kits that each player carries, you can see which weapon he can "unlock"

Unlocks take time to get, you need 1000 global points for your first unlock and after that it is at 10500. Most players at this time have 1 or 2 weapon unlocks, but there are a few that have more.

Each weapon has it's ups and downs, some are vast improvements over the stock weapons, and some are just minor improvements. If you use the search button on the word "unlock" or any of the weapon names like "L85" you will find many threads where people have talked about each weapon and which one they like best.

the unlocked weapons will still be as balanced as before. some guns may be more powerful (ie. the G3 or PKM) but tis balanced out by a smaller mag (G3) or a slower rate of fire (PKM).
so in the end, unlocked weapons are merely an alternative.

I am guessing that is online. I cannot access online for my network card sucks, so this is why I am requesting a list.

Is the unlocked weapon Class specific, like USA, MEC, CHINA? Can I use the new weapon in different class?
