I found out yesterday that you can cycle through players while waiting for spawn

by pressing C. It seems like it cycles through you squad first then other players on your team in third person view. I accidently found this out trying to switch camera views in my plane to see the a guy tailing me.
Raise you hand if you didnt know this, and to those that did just call me a n00b i dont care.
cool..........makes waiting to spawn more tactical
Yeah, usually at the start of each match I press C, and I look at which spawn point the guy is at (the one I'm watching) and if everything seems to be clear there, or if they're being hit with some resistance I'll spawn there.
If it's too much resistance (artillery, armor surrounding the place) , I'll keep it safe and spawn somewhere else.
Knew this already because it was in BF1942. What I'd really love to know is how to solve this little problem:
The enemy has capped all your flags, and hence you cannot spawn. In this situation I'd like to just watch the remaining players try and get a flag, but I can't because the spawn window pops up every 5 seconds even though I can't spawn!

if there are still a few players alive, the should create a squad so they'll be squad leader and then the dead players can spawn on them and help retake some flags.
