    About Teamplay....

    Happens a lot these days...

At gamestart, on dragonvalley chinese side I mine the entrance to the most advanced flag on our side (just the enemyside of the entrance). I take a FAV and drive to Island closest to the enemy-base. I see them advancing on vehicles and on foot. I kill like 20 guys (mainly on foot - i know its a bit of vehicle camping but anyways it takes 40 enemy tickets away and i lead on 1st place). The enemies have no clue where the fire is coming from (i kill them from the side) as choppers cannot detect me because I am hiding under trees. Now comes this morone - while I am shooting at these easy targets - take the fav and drives it away lets say 100 meters. I write it down asking why he did this - no answer - then he goes in the gunners seat - firing the gun in the middle of nowhere - I ask him if he is playing the same game against the same enemy. Still no answer - he is just sitting there. So in the end I take the FAV - steering it into the water (on purpose) - I jump out of it he stays in it. Didn't get any TK for that, he got killed by the FAV. He respawns at the flag I defended pretty good he takes another FAV there and steers towards the enemy base (which can't be conquered). What happens he drive on my mine and kills himself and I get punished (was still leading the scoreboard) for it. I write it down to all people in the server that with such an idiot a game can't be played and I search for another server.

On the other server I find (Mashtuur) a good game is going on. I join a good squad having fun for about 5 minutes (the people in the squad of 4 used VOIP) - we were doing good things than i get moved to the other side by the server - ending the round 2nd. The people in the squad I was in also said it is a stupid system this way. I hope it will change somehow in future that when you are in a squad you can't be moved to the other side (at least not while there are a couple of non-squad guys there).

It kept me from playing further - I went to my wife on the couch for watching a stupid movie...

It's tricky but the best path is not to get hung up on the behaviour of idiots. Really you will see some mind numbing stupidity while playing BF2 but just ignore it and get on with your game. Some people get into vedetta's against such players but really this is just destroying your own enjoyment in pursuit of someone who probably has no idea you exist.

The likely hood is in your example that the guy had no idea you were speaking to him via in game chat and he probably thought whatever he was doing was very useful. It's annoying but there is no win in such cases.
