I tried that =/ Didnt work for some reason.
Got 5 kills and 20 deaths by killing myself. And didnt get the purple heart. Ill try again later.

the way you SHOULD get a purple heart is just getting critically wounded and then revived. its closer to reality that way.

I tried to get it for a few days and finally gave up. The very next round I got it not intentionally :) I guess I sucked that day :)

You do realize that everytime you kill yourself its -2 points. Its pretty stupid to do that for a -40 point round.

who cares, your global score doesn't go down, I checked the global score and it stayed the same, and by the way, first I got 5 kills, is like 10 points and captured a flag is 4 points, then after I got my medal I killed like 5 more and captured some flags and my final score was -8

It doesn't show up directly, but once you have 5 kills and 20 deads, then you have to wait like 1 min or something, then it apears

I got it the other day. I was really sucking bad, like 1 - 9 or something so i thought sod it, i may aswell get it and i did. It looks good

Having a Purple heart isnt anything to be proud over.. the medal shows that you suck

I think it's a pretty stupid award... I havn't tried to get it yet, and I dont think i'll try... But if someday I will want it, I will try what you suggested.

People just want it because its the only medal other than the Gold, Silver, and Bronze, that doesnt need you to play the game a ridiculous amount of time.

I read some where that you have to get a 1:4 kill ratio.
So i'm guessing that is true. I spent an entire game trying to get 16 kills with 4 deaths then i realised i got the ratio's the wrong way round!!!! DAM.

i got it on our server one night. Wasn't looking to at the start, but for some reason, we were getting owned. So i had 5 kills. and 11 deaths.

So i went for it. And you know what? It's hard to get intentionally. Just when i wanted to get owned, i couldn't.
