          A tank is a tank.

The Bradley suits this purpose better.

I would know because i saw that other picture further up this thread.

With that being said, I think it's an excellent idea. I'm tired of choppers sneaking up behind me and dropping 6+ missiles on my head. Then again.. it would probably work as good as the other AA. :|:
if the gunner is smart and uses his missles, 1 is all it will take.

Tanks should not have AA ability beyond what they already have.

The dedicated AA vehicles need to be a lot better at their job though than they currently are. I have more success with the buggies mounted machine gun than I do with the dedicated AA guns and don't even get me onto the useless stingers. The AA vehicles need to be deadly vs. air targets. The air targets if they see an AA vehicle should think to themselves I need to get the hell out of here not ah nice jucy target.

Just on the buggies vs. air units if you have not tried them out give them ago as you will not believe how effective their guns are vs. choppers. The Mec and Chinese buggies are particulary good as their top gun has 360 degree's of movement. I take down so many Cobra's with these guns Just find yourself a nice secluded spot under a flight path with a bit of cover and they make great AA vehicles.

To be honest; As a chopper whore, I get shot down more with a tank's cannon then mobile aa. Tanks are supposed to be vulnerable to helicopters. The attack choppers main purpose is to take out armor. There are tactics that you can use to minimize being raped by a helicopter pilot, but if he is skilled with a decent gunner you don't have a prayer; Even if your beloved M1A2 had aa rocket pods on it.

we'll there are the anti air vehicles like the linebacker, but yeah having an anti-air vehicle with a cannon would be a good idea, especailly when youre in moblie AA and you come up againist a tank,

I've gotten pretty good at taking down choppers with a tank, so I wouldn't really care. As a pilot view.. I wouldnt enjoy having a solid lock-on 24/7 when flying.
