What a difference between urban maps and non urban maps..

I just finished a few days infantry practice on exclusively urban maps, and I played on the other maps today. What a difference! These larger maps are mostly about air power/vehicle control, with very little infantry combat. They are so boring too, no wonder why most people's favorite maps are urban.

If I find a high skilled server though, I think these larger maps can be more challenging. But they are too easy. Just hop around in a tank capping flags or in a jet bombing. It's the only options left for these large maps!

its also a great way to hold down the W key for about 95% of the map, traversing vast terrain in an effort to capture a flag you just got 3 minutes ago but lost because of someone on the enemy team doing the exact same you're doing

Yeah. Basically, for those maps to be interesting, you have to go either attack helicopter or jet. At least you are always moving fast and you can find enemies a lot faster. But tanking around all day, is just too skillness!

          So true...

I think if people DEFENDED flags, the gameplay would be better. As in, make the "Defended Flag!" points worth more.
