Radeon 9250 Screen Problem.

lol you have things mixed up i think, your supposed to set it to the higest you can, try 1027x780 or there abouts ,turn off all AA and AF, set to performance mode, keep it at 8xagp if you have the option, and also in your bios set agp apature to 128 if it allows you too...
also your moni should have an auto feature that sets up the H-V sizes for you....unless its old

Sorry guys i should have been more detailed.
i dont have a AGP compliant motherboard, therefore im PCI.

Now can anyone help me? since we got that straighted out.
And i still dont have a start bar down there.i got nothing. :cry:

could you be a little more specific, did you upgrade from onboard graphics?
whats the specs of your system atm?
can you remember what your original screen res was?

i think its still a monitor issue, try altering your horizontal and verticle screen sizes
(on your actual monitor) (there should be a button on your moni to open a settings box, some have a small disk like button that clicks in and rotates) also the H and V resizing symbols look like a box with an arrow pointing either up and down or from left to right depending on the way you want to strech it, theres also a H and V movement option which moves the picture, but dosent resize it, (its one or the other tho )

bf2 must support the card if its letting you start it, however the pci card may not have enough bandwith to actually display a picture...hense the lag or lack of picture

also did you install the drivers?

512 RAM
80GB Hard drive
Radeon 9250
(I dont kno too much about this computer, just ask questions that u want to know and i'll help you like that.)
No i dont remember my original screen size was.i mean it was definetly smaller then the one im at now.
All i know is that i had Intel Extreme Graphics and then i plugged my monitor in my Radeon.and the screen was all big, and i couldnt find my start button/toolbar.but when i switched the monitor and plugged it in the Intel Extreme Graphics.it had a start bar and everything was pretty much fine.
So i think my Radeon's settings's might be messed up.I have already done positioning.And about the whole Battle field thing.when i play the screen turns black,than i see a picture (but lag,my mouse is frozen)turns black,i see the same picture of battle field,then shoots me to the desktop with a VPU Recovery Error.

And when u ask me if i installed the driver? Yes i put the Graphics card in the computer.but i didnt do anything else.and when u say "diverS" with an "S" no i didnt install the driverS because there was only one?

i just got to bump my post...anyways.any ideas on how to atleast get rid of this battle field problem? king has been very helpful.keep the suggestions coming please i bought too much stuff just to quit right now.

DUDE i have the exact same problem its messed up but i have a 2.40 ghz and 1 gig ram but i have the exact same problem WHATS UP WITH IT i just got a radeon 9250 card pci for xmas and a ram stick its SO ANNOYING i've tried for 3 days and still nothing happened its annoying isn't it plz someone help us
