Radeon 9250 Screen Problem.

Why is the screen so huge and up-close? i cant even see my start button.

is this for everyone? if not.how do i fix this?

pretty much i set it to the lowest possible.when i start up battle feild.its just one big black screen and i can here the music in the back ground.

hmmm on the lowest that may be the problem why you cant see anything go to this folder C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\Support and if u have any red X's

Ok but i dont see red X's i see..files.

You need to adjust the screens horizontal and vertical sizes. And keep to resolutions native to your screen. Generally no lower then 800x600, and no higher then 1600x1200.

How can i adjust the screens horizontal and vetical sizes? i think that might be why i cant see my start menu.

i'll take any suggestions on how to get my Start menu Bar to show up.

wow everything is messed up.ahhh i just erased everything!.lol this sucks.ok well i tried battle field.DOESNT WORK.the screen flickers and it shows it and i cant move my mouse.then i get an error and i have to crtl-alt-del.to open battle field.and then idk.all sorts of stuff.like lag.and stuff.idk

for 9200 and 9250 AGP cards (NOT PCI), download catalyst 5.5 or up to 5.7 with catalyst control center whichever you decide. go to display properties, click settings tab, click advanced button. Go to SMARTGART tab and turn down the AGPX from 8x to 4x. Restart the computer. You might also consider turning off Anti Aliasing and Anisothropic Filtering in 3D tab of the control Center.

lol you have things mixed up i think, your supposed to set it to the higest you can, try 1027x780 or there abouts ,turn off all AA and AF, set to performance mode, keep it at 8xagp if you have the option, and also in your bios set agp apature to 128 if it allows you too...
also your moni should have an auto feature that sets up the H-V sizes for you....unless its old
