Just installed SP2 bf2 crashes

    Just installed SP2 bf2 crashes

    OK, i just installed service pack 2 and i load up bf2 and join a server and i play 5 minutes in game and then boom! CTD without warning.this never happened before i installed sp2

    Specs:

    AMD Athlon 64bit 3000+ 2.2 Ghz
    Nvidia Tornado Geforce FX5700 128MB
    1GB of PC2700 RAM
    WinXP Home Edition Just recently installed Service Pack 2

      If you've just installed SP2 after installing alot of your other files you can encounter problems, or maybe your firewall or something is stopping it????

              I agree with Snake101. You changed a lot of system files and things when you installed Service Pack 2. I just had to re-format, and reinstall everything, and it went smoothly (no problems with anything).

              Re-installed BF2, it maybe a pain but it should fix your issue.
