Or just use a Tank/LAV and camp at the cross roads. Pick off MEC units trying to cross the road.

16 players on a 32 map lasts for ages. I was one a 24/7 Karkand server that was 32 map size but only 16 players. I got the commander badge, some ribbon and a few hours worth of commander time
