Stat padding happens a lot. What was on the video is just plain griefing, but is easily avoidable by the person being griefed as mentioned earlier. Suicide for a different spawn point, or just disconnect. or quickly try to kill all those around you which probably wont happen.

I think this is supposed to be adressed in the next patch

I saw this on a server tonight... There was 2 ppl on one side and 2 from the other and they where reviving and killing eachother to get points. They musta been doin it on purpose, even the guy who got killed a lot because the medic gets a lot of points and so does the killer. People have been doing this a lot just to get stats and points.. The one server I was in kicked me after i saw what they where up to. I was just watching.

Oh man, I love stat whores:

I joined a squad, spawned on the leader, and was instantly raped by a FAV. I think I died another 5 times before I booked it like crazy and jumped over a cliff to suicide. I landed on a ledge and died. Next thing I know, one of the Medics parachutes down and revives me. BAM, shanked that mofo. Then, his other Medic buddy comes down to revive him, only to get shanked also. I respawn on them as they are driving out to their secret spot. I spawned in the non-gunner positions, dropped some C4 down on the car.. BOOM

Its funny because...

1) its much more enjoyable to play the game the way it was meant to be played

2) the time you spend padding you could be increasing your skills in bf2 and eventually will cause...

3) your score per min is pretty damn close to the stat padders anyway and your enjoying the game and keeping your dignity.

I agree, its much better knowing you actually worked for medals and such, The only thing i want score is to get more guns, after my next unlock i wont even care that much. Whats the point getting score when you know it wasnt done propperly, anyone can do that. But when it comes down to it in the actual game, they will look stupid, with a high rank but suck at the game.
