need mod help... maps wont load///

Ok i made a mod with some different caracteristics of some weapons and stuff... i try to run it from the bf2/ community/ mods section,,, it runs succesfully..

now i want to play this in singleplayer.... so i click the singleplayer tab, and realise there are no maps there... this is the same with the create local server option can someone help me here..... i also did that thing where you put in the mod/ modmanager/ blah blah/ and i checked all of the boxes on the left so all the objects would be loaded into bf2,,, did i do something wrong?

EDIT: well i copied all of the things from the levels folder and put it into my new mod folder....

booted up bf2 loaded the thing then when i load the map ( gulf of oman ) and click Load game it CTD's.... any more usefull help kind man?

Alright don't have much info to work with here. The most common mistake I've seen people make with the new editor is usually in the level design itself. have you successfuly made a new map or are you modding an existing one?

Normally if you can't see the maps then they arnt in the right place in the BF2 folder. Double check to make sure you have them under Levels. For me even a labled folder with nothing in it comes up in the level selector but the map just wont load.

If you get the map to load and it stops mid-load then thats another story.

I need some more information to help you out any.

i dont want to do any of that,,,,,, i just changed the power of some weapons to make like some nukes and stuff/// and it still wont work..

In order to play single player - you also have to copy over the AI folder. Otherwise, the game tries to load bots and doesn't know where to put them.

I see. Well im pretty much useless on this subject seeing as I really only make maps. I'll look around when I get to that stage and see what I can do with it. I would imagine that using an old map with new weapon stats would conflict with something in BF's coding. My guess would be to creat a new map with the open mods and import(copy) the entire map to edit it. When doing multiplayer BF was recently patched so you couldnt change parts of the maps. Like I said this is just my guess for now...
