I have VOIP enabled, and while playing its enabled but I don't see when people are talking. The firewall on my router is disabled, or should be, but I don't even get notified of anyone talking on VOIP servers, when they have it enabled. Any clues?

My buddy had the same problem and this worked for him:

If you have an Audigy2 sound card, I made an extensive post detailing what I did (and many others) have done to rectify some of the problems, again this is ONLY if you have an Audigy2 sound card!

Shakermaker is correct, its a known issue with BF2, hopefully fixed in v1.03 coming our way late August. The Audigy2 supposedly doesn't preform upto snuff in-game, so my post relates to that. But by doing exactly what I did in my post, I got VoIP working when using my hardware on high, with EAX enabled.
