They wont listen

i was playing at karkand, and our side MEC, where getting our asses kicked, and all we had were noob commanders, so the next round i descided to take the job, well half of the round we were winning, well bearly, then i would tell the squads to hit outpost close to our main base, and only one would listen, that one squad would run at all three bases to capture them

all the other squads would be doing there own thing, so i told em all, "how do you expect to win if you dont listen" they all got mad lol

also told them UAV supply and art are ready and to request, what they do? nothing

so i would drop it where there be any enemy, and noob was there and they started complaning told them all "use your map, thats what its for"

then i was booted, im sure they lost the round after that, the enemy had none of our posts, before i left :/

i even wanted to jump on the tank and do all the work, but then everything complaines when the commander fights in the battle

To me that is natural squads never listen to the commander because of two reasons: First of all only the squad leader gets the message from u to attack certain points and he doesn't even bother to tell his squad or his squad won't listen to him. Second reason is that most of the people playing are more interested in kills or just snatching random flags instead of coop gameplay. Sorry but this won't change unless EA decides to make teamwork somehow effect rank(which probably won't happen).

PS- i haven't even been playing this game much because of my computer specs but i am still surprised that there is no teamwork after the game being out this long. When i get my update by the end of august then i will play alot more(actually pretty much all the time).

the commanders were both idiots, they only went commander for double points so they could get gold. i still almost beat them. *grumble*

I kick idle commanders from my server frequently... I warn them first,
but when they ignore it and continue to disregard their role as commander,
or they use the assets for themselves all game, I give them the boot.

Of course, they come back and start saying they were kicked because they
are sooo 'good' and they were 'owning' us.. its hilarious.

Okay, but explain something to me. Before you took over, the previous commanders were just "noobs." Once you become the commander, all of the sudden, it's now the squads and squad leaders who are the noobs. (Presumably, they were elite squads before your reign.)

My point is that though few here will probably be bright enough to make this connection, maybe we should stop calling everyone a noob until we've walked a mile in their shoes first.

Being commander is hard with all the idiots playing. I admire people who try to do it properly ( not good at it myself ). I always look for orders and obey even knowing I am probably going to die in the attempt, a soldiers lot in life. Hope you don't get sick of being commander, we need good ones!!

well there both noobs, i mean we keep losing, i try taking back all posts close to home base, but no one comes to help, even when i make a squad, and when commander says to attack/defend/repair i do it...unless i feel like going lonewolf
