    Help With Ati Catalyst Control Center!!!

    hi, can some one plz tell me how to turn off the catalyst control center so that it does not auto appear when started up?? if i press control+alt+delete, and manually end that process for good, can some one tell me the name of it?? thanks

      Go under Start Menu, click on Run. Then type in msconfig. Press Enter. Then, Click on the startup tab, if you see cli and ATI Catalyst sys..., uncheck them. Then on the next reboot, both programs should not start up. Hope it helps you.

          CLI.exe is the small icon in the lower right hand side of the screen which allows resolution changes and things like that on the fly. I use it quite freqently, so it doesn't bother me. But if you must have it off then by all means do as it will free up a minute amount of memory.

            k, i have delete catalyst control center, and now whenever i run bf2, it gives me this message about how some of my shaders r missing and sh1t, this really bothers me...

              This is why you never delete things you have no clue about. Turning it off from start up is one thing, but deleting it was foolish.

                If you actually took the time to open it and looked under the Preferences Tab you would see it can be easily disabled
