Wow... just pick up the game last night did you.

If you jump out of a tank/apc, there are a few things that can and will happen, none of them are good. But what do I know.. I only have 4000+ kills with a tank.

or, if you're n00b-op, jump out, place c4, wait for them to get near the tank, click, boom!

then someone shoots you at the back.

LOL. You obviously are joking or don't know what you are talking about.

If die with you tank it respawns with you 5 seconds later. You dying hurts your team less than the enemy getting that tank and repairing it.

The ramming tricks works well if it is a tank/tank or APC/APC. You can take the other one with you if you are desperate.

I think dying with your tank is important. There are really only three possible outcomes when you bail. 1:Enemy repairs your tank. Now your teams down one tank and the enemy is up one. 2:Your tank dies and you live. Your tank spawns at some out of the way point that noone on your team is using. Your teams down one tank as it just sits there. 3: You live, tank dies, spawns at base and some noob jumps into it starts making Sunday drives around the map until he eventually drives it into the ocean, your teams still down one tank.

Remember that next time you wanna jump and run from your tank. And also please don't steal my tank when I jump out to repair it.

              I either

A: Get out of sight and repair.

B: If i am not Engineer (sometimes i don't have a chance to switch) and start taking damage. I'll run right for them. Hopefully they will die too, or kill teammates.

C: Just sit there and die with it. DON'T EVER GIVE IT AWAY!

Hey, what do I know? It is quite obvious when you are going to die in a tank, and that is either when you run away and repair, or jump out and kill the other guy with your anti-tank rocket.

Only n00bs get out of their tanks and don't blow it up/let it blow up. It depends on the map, but you can still get your job done as infintry, without wasting 15 seconds respawning, and 30 seconds to a minute getting back to where you were.

The only real way to get people to stop doing this is to yell at them in caps on the server and stand in front of their tank, even then the chances of them realizing you mean them will be too small.
