At the moment you have "V" to speak to commander and "B" to talk to you're squad over VoIP, how about a button that allows you to talk to people nearby?
The most obvious benefit of this would be in vehicles. How many times have you been in a chopper and needed to talk to the pilot? I've seen this mentioned on these forums before.
Another scenario where this would be useful is when you are an engineer trying to repair. Now you can tell the bloke in the damaged APC to wait and let you repair him, instead of trying to tell him via the text chat (Meanwhile he's driven off into the distance).
Perhaps you could even allow your voice to be broadcast to nearby enemies as well (perhaps to simulate the fact that your soldier is just shouting). Imagine shouting "Jiiiiiiiiiiiiiihaaaaaaaaaaaaad" just as you crash your Jihad jeep into that previously oblivious tank :)
Worth being added to the game?
