tonight i were playing in a server and i wanted to fly the chopper but everytime i tryed a noob would beet me to the poilet seat so i would be the gunner. now he crashed all the time and was TKing me constently and i dont punnish once. but after about the 10th crash he crashes again and for some reason this time it says i TKed him when i were the gunner and he punnishes me. now this really f**ks me off. why dose it say i killed him to start with and what gives him the right to punnish me when he killed us bout many many times. DICE get rid of the whole punnish crap it is the worst feature in any BF series

Damn, that is F'ed up... After punishing me the first time, I would of just said forget it, kill him myself, and take the punishment just to get him out of the way.
People punish me all the time for ridiculous crap... those fools that run out in front of my buggy when im going full speed... people that walk out into the middle of a goddamn APC /tank battle and manage to get run over in the middle of, lol retards who jump OUT of my vehicle while im moving and manage to get run over...
I don't punish unless its a retard who kills me on purpose or someone who really needs to learn a lesson... so many times I get killed while I'm capping a flag by some trigger happy idiot who runs around the corner and kills me... or someone who TK's me more than once. Like those jet people who bomb a bunch of friendlies while we're taking a flag.. good riddance, they should be kicked off a server, they're causing your side more problems than doing good.Comment

That's probably true. Following the lead of others on this forum, I leave the "PgUp/PgDn" message up until I hear or see an, "I'm sorry." If no apology, then no manual forgiveness on my part, i.e., I just let the "PgUp/PgDn" message expire which will default to a punishment. :pOriginally posted by GreasedEastonSome noobs dont respond to the forgive or punish so it automatically will punish.I think the majority of punishment comes from that alone.
On a side note, I still don't understand why so many pilots here complain about being punished for crashing. By that I mean I have been onboard a helicopter numerous times only to crash, yet I have never once been given the option to forgive or punish the pilot.
(For note, contrary to my above practice, I would always, under ALL circumstances, forgive a pilot--even a noob pilot.)

yea it really anoys me how when the map is challenging and the tickets are close and the noobs try to fly and just crash. they should learn how to fly in single player first or in an empty server
and by the way the punishment didn't expire i was punnished strait after he killed us both.Comment

tonight i get off computer and read english book. =P try using some puncuation next time dude. That was just hard to read.
And yeah that sucks, it happens to the best of us. By chance, were you shooting the gun as he crashed? I've noticed that the gunner gun gives off enough splash damage if your real close to the ground. If that happened it registers your damage as what brought the helo down... giving you the credit for the kill.Comment
