  • Scaling terrain

I just finished my terrain for a map and I got it just the way I wanted it, except it is half as large as I expected it to be. Is there any way to scale it? In other editors you can scale brushes and such, but terrain is of course different, and those are different engines. I probably should have checked the scale before I got too far into making the terrain, newbie mistake.

    No you cannot
You have to choose your size when you start.
You need a lot of ram 2 gigs if you want to make something with a size of 1024 and larger.
Don't forget the scaling stands for gridsize.
Scale 1 is every grid is 1 meter
scale 2 every grid is 2 meters
scale 4 every grid is 4 meters
so a map of 512 scale 2 is 1024 meters in size. and every grid is 2 meters so you can make detailed landscape. If you want to be very preciese use 1024 scale 1 for that.
for maps with not much detail you can use scale 4 but it is not recommended for now.
