64 bit & Editor?

I though I seen on a post that 64-bit stuff dont work with bf2 editor?
im getting my AMD 4200+ X2 and a 7800GTX OC so is this not going to be usable on bf2 editor???????

nope i have x64 and I cant install the editor

i got x64 and i installed it and it works great (after figuring out how to do stuff :p)

Basically right click on the Properties of the Installer, click the "Compatability" tab, then tick the Run this program in: then in the drop down box select Windows XP.

Then double click install and walla! done!

Athlon64's are just normal processers which have the capabilities to run 64-bit apps.

Most people think that there native 64-bit processors that can run 32-bit programs aswell.

We are talking about 64-bit Operating Systems.

I myself tried to install the editor on my pc, and got the error saying BF2 editor only compatible with Windows XP OS.

So i had to do what i said about, properties > Compatibility > change it to run in Windows XP.

As said above, don't worry if you're getting a 64-Bit CPU. If you are, however, getting Windows x64, you'll just have to install it in compatibility mode.

I had no problems on my AMD 64 3000+, installed smooth and no errors and im using it with 0 problems.
