Dune 2 and total annihilation.... Very hard core rts games right there[i believe i still have both]original c&c, tiberian sun and firestorm, RED ALERT1and2andyurisrevenge, and warcrafts, now times probaly dawn of war,generalspluszerohour, ...
Act of war was good as well.
emperor battle for dune, dune 2000, caeser 3, blitzkreig, sudden strike[1and2andexpansion], groundcontrol, empire earth were all good rts games but underated. Hmm not sure if i named all the ones i played but i enjoyed all of them.Comment

And Dawn of War (the expansion is coming out soon... can't wait)
Plus Red Alert 2 pwns.
has anyone played a game called Original War? i bought it ages ago, its very good (for £5 espexcially)
OMFG i almost forgot Total Annihilation... i love that game! i had all the expansions too, i haven't played that game in ages. what a kick ass game.Comment

Warcraft 1, C&C, Total Annihilation. all good ones.
Act of War is pretty sick, better then Generals IMO, Empires: Dawn of the Modern World was cool too, playing as WWII countries ownd.
Right now I would say Age of Empires III is looking nice, can't wait.
Aside from true RTS, Panzers: Phase One and Two are awesome, and all 3 commandos games are too, but they're not really RTS, neither is Silent Storm or Fallout: Tactics but they are also in there somewhere, maybe but they're not so much turn-based as they are as much RT and they are strategic, just no base building, so I'm not sure what genre they would fit in exactly. Check em out though if you haven't already.Comment
