OK. Sounds good to me as it is apparently working for you. But I might just be plain stupid or something: I can't find the watersettings!!
Please help me on this....Comment

on the left hand side you should be able to select tweak or your map name.
select your mao name then look down the options hat have appeared.
one of them should be water settings, click the little + next to it and there you should be able to change the water level.Comment

To Smegger!!
Thank you, man.
I really appreciated your help. Thanks a lot. I'd been looking for it in the wrong box and didn't even think about the place you suggested as being more than a label on top of the tweak window.
Thanks againComment

How do I make the water look like water?
Hi,been making my first map, doing good so far, I just can't figure out how to make my water look like water, not just a solid, motionless colour.
Thanks Guys.Comment

You can do a couple of things to make your water look good...there are options somewhere for how fast the water should animate, what colour it is, etc. You can mess around with that, the sky, and the lighting. Or, you can do it the easier way!
Find a level from the main game that has water you like the look of. We're going to shamelessly steal it.
Find the level in your files, and unzip those two zip files you see there. Now, copy the following from those files into your map's files:
the water folder
the water.con
the sky.con
the envmap folder
I don't know for sure if you actually need all of these. But I copied these four things from the Gulf_Of_Oman level and my water in my level then looked all shiny and nice, just like it looks in the levels that come with the game. :)Comment

Yeah, a friend just told me that way, I need water.con, the water folder and envmap folder only. I did Fu She, but it splits really noticably into 2 halves, but oman still splits, but not as badly.Comment

How exacly do you paint a texture and water? Everytime I tried this, it simply paints the grid under water(I Can't seem to put it on the right level)?
I have at 1000 from -1000, what would be a good number?Comment

IIRC, the water only has those two halfs in the editor. It looks fine in-game.Originally posted by MackTheKnifeAUYeah, a friend just told me that way, I need water.con, the water folder and envmap folder only. A good number depends on where you want your water to be and the overall height of the height map. 10-50 is good. Remember that this is all in meters. So 10 would be about 30 feet above see water. 1000... well yeah, thats WAY... to high.Comment
