Buggiest game of the year can go to CS: Source hands down, 30+ patches in the last 10 months and still the netcode is crap.

netcode is better than the netcode of BF2 moron, you probably are one of those guys just saying what some guys say at the steam forum.
search the steam forum for a total explanation of the netcode of CS S , and you will find out how good it is, also the game runs on lots of PC's

BF'2 however runs only on some videocards, only on XP so the program should work withut any problems because you don't have to make it compatible for so many platfors, however never has there been a game that had so many bugs and BIG BUGS as BF2

- crash to desktop
- wrong tagging of players
- memory loss
- like 10 bugs in one gamebrowser
- games gets stuck

so this is why BF2 never had a chance to make it game of the year

and atleast steam gives so many patches, EA/DICE just gave 2 patches and one of them was actualy one that caused more bugs

I never watch any of that garbage, because all they play is console games, so of course halo 2 will beat out any PC game.

Halo 2 = a good game no glitches and such. (quality , no too much quantity as in players)

Battlefield 2 = nice looking(but shity on the inside) , (No Quality , much quantity)

Halo played well but dosent deserve game of the year as the single player in it wasnt anywhere near as good as it was hyped-up to be. Battlefield 2 is better overall in my opinion

halo 2 wins because of its multiplayer. its for people who cant afford rigs to play games like bf2. ill vouch for its multiplayer since i myself put around 800-900 hours of gameplay in before i started playing bf2. its insanely addicting IF YOUR COMPETITIVE. its actaully skill based not like bf2. however, single player sucks. kinda like bf2. Dont listen to that crap though. u cant compare console to pc. its like apples to oranges, because thats 2 different types of games. lots of console gamers dont know **** abaout computers. ignorance is bliss.

To all you people that think BF2 is buggy and bad. Err...you haven't played many other online games have you? Especially MMO's. BF2 is NOTHING to complain about. There are hardly any noticeable bugs. There are a few...but practically not much lol. The only real problems is when BFHQ goes haywire for a while and the server browser can be screwy at times. But other than that...not really.

Don't whine just because you can.

The hit detection is broken in a FPS ... I think that's reason ENOUGH to complain.

If you don't belevie me. Well... hell, you just don't belevie me.

But! In some cases headshots do not kill, rockets pass through tanks, ammunition hits targets and has NO effect. Etc. Etc. Hit Detection is kinda' the FIRST thing you should get right in a FPS... and Dice/EA screwed the pooch.

I don't play MMO's only FPS online and I have played more than you think
BF2 is very buggy pal, and what do you call a few smal bugs ? system crashing to desktop, system has severe memory loss, system freezes, .... ingame browser freezes and is slow like hel, .....
BF2 netcode sucks big time, still they have no prediction in it, what means if you have a small package loss you get the message "there is a problem with your connection" meaning if you are in a plan/chopper you are going to be dead, and you will be dead in many other cases.
Then you have the small bugs, like 1000 of them.

They have solved some big bugs already with the second patch and the third one cumming up will change more than 140 things , if a patch changes more then 140 things, it means the game has many many many many bugs and problems in it

Based on the ingame server browser alone--this game is far from being GOTY!!!
Prone jumping! Crashes! Unbalanced weapons! SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOW Stat updates! Unbalanced game play! Unbalanced joining to maps when they start! Limited SPplay! No COOP play (heck if someone from the community could do it, you would thinks the pros could!!!!--acouple of more fixes and the coop mod should be ok). Allowing people under 19yrs old to play!!! (LOL).

I quit playing Halo 2 for BF2. So yeah...

And there are definetly not very many bugs that could cause you to not be able to play or enjoy your gaming experience. Try playing SWG or some other MMO if you want to talk about bugs.
