I need help

I was running a low end machine and had to play BF2 on the low settings so I went out today and bought a new machine (AMD 64 3400, Asus board, ATI 850XT 256)

I have spent the evening setting it up and last but not least was my install of BF2 - I pop the disc in and it asks for my serial number .......where the hell is the manual ???? AAAGGGGGHHHHH

I still have the other tower sitting here, is there any way I can get the serial number off the game from my other tower ?

I think you might be able to look in your bf2 game files for the number, but I have no idea which file it's in, sorry.

boot up the old tower if you have bf2 installed on it still.

Just go to start>run> type "regedit" without the quotes>click ok. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc .. write down the value and there ya go.
