The strategy for winning/doing well on urban maps is often straight forward, as there are a lot of battle hotspots where you can be active in.
Now, when we are talking about larger non-urban maps, what is your strategy? Obviously, you can't go around with the m203 killing infantry as much because of the larger map scope, so I think vehicles and aircraft play a more important role.
Getting in a jet and bombing is one option, but even then, non-urban maps really seem to get going very slowly most of the time.
