Terrain texturing and objects

How do i paint the terrain, ive got everything setup but the paint doesnt show up when i click

and i can find the static objects for buildings

Hi from spain and excuse me for my bad english. Phiplips i have the same problem with the textures i was read the tutorial but when i paint in detail mode the textures not show. Why?

1st make sure the right
layer is selected
also make sure on the right is it painting both detail and texture,
make sure the render mode is set to detail texture

yea i setup all my texture layers and go to detail mode yet i see not textures

Is the "Both" button pressed?
You may be just painting the detail and not the texture.

I wouldn't recommend that as that tutorial skips out some very important things.

To be able to paint with both Texture and color you should have "Both" and "Color" buttons pressed. After you have painted your textures you should press "Merge" to be able to see your result in Grid/texture mode.
