Who here has the expert or veteran knife combat badges, without cheating?

Yesterday I unlocked the veteran badge and came within like 3 kills of the expert.

I've got 34 knife kills in about 100 hrs of play, all legit, no badge though. I have no idea how I'm gonna get 7 in a round. I think my personal best is 3.

Finally got veteran knife badge, took a couple rounds of frustration. Working on veteran pistol now.

Tip: Play on 64 player servers with 16-20 people. These matches last considerably longer then full 64 player servers, giving you the time to get the kills in 1 round.

I got the vet but I'm going to wait until I hit corporal and get my vet explosives badge before going after expert.

I got the veteran knife badge. I got it without getting the basic one...I guess because I already had over 100 knife kills. I never really made an extreme effort to go for it though. Happened in the flow of the game. I got like 5 in 1 minute. Stabbing a whole squad...was kinda funny. I stabbed one guy and a medic went to revive him without paying attention to me...as soon as he was revived I stabbed him again. The medic must have been a squad leader because another guy spawned and since the medic was prone the guy spawned in prone so he got caught up in my knife rage. I got killed. Rushed the same area with a knife and got a couple. All thanks to a tank that had them pinned in. During the rampage I was suprised to see the award.

I got the damn purple heart trying to get the knife badge! I had one last kill but a dumb noob APC TKed me. * No cheating for none of my badges* I have seen a lot of badge cheating ... and people don't do $hit about it.

I got the expert knife badge a week or so ago (legit). It was actually pretty fun to do.. a lot of people don't know what to think when they see a medic bunny-hopping towards them with a knife. :laugh:

got my expert knife about a week ago as well (legit too). played on karkland, and i picked off 3 guys camping on top on top of a building near the first node, went back there again after i died and there were 2 more guys. i figured since i had 5 kills within the first 20 tickets or so, i might as well go for it, and i actually managed to get all 18 with about 40 tickets remaining. it really works well if you see a guy putting down supressing fire to just run around a building behind them and knife them

i think its easier just to chase ppl in high combat places, follow a whole squad and start picking ppl off, hoping they don't have teamspeak u can take out a whole squad easy.....

I got my badge in normal course of play. SOmetimes I need something other than pint and shoot, so hwy not bunny hop like a madman and stab anything that moves? Not really, but I got mine on a normal server. Karkand 64 player on 32 player map. I was on MEC. I play normal for a few minutes til people get on the right flank. Then I go back to the second flag, head to the alley and come up behind em unseen. That's usually 3 kills, spawn camping support medic and sniper. THen i charge up the the hill when noone looks and run along the side of the map. Wait for campers. Pretty easy to get if you're patient and dont get spotted too quickly. Other option is to just charge by the artillery cannon and hope for the best while bunny hoppin like a rabbit on steroids and caffeine.

Maybe sit near the hole in the fence on karkand and keep slashing, i dunno.

I had 16 in one round, needed two more but I got kicked by a lousy admin, oh yeah it was a clan server (old farts). God damn them.

I got the basic and veteran in about 8 hours of play. I averaged around 7 knife kills a round. I got about 72 in those 8 hours :) . No cheating either. The way to go is be a medic and use their long spring to get behind people, and btw I don't bunny hop. I first started going crazy with the knife on Gulf of Oman, pretty good map to do it. You just do it at the spawn points nearest the beach, you can easily get around people.

have my basic and veteran knife badges as well as basic pistol badge.. going for veteran pistol.. and then expert knife if I ever get lucky..
