War College, Far East Service & Mid East Service

Anyone know the requirements for these.

Rumours have it that Far East and Mid East require 100 MEC/China wins + 250 hours total time.

Anyone confirm this is right or wrong.

War College Ribbon. There is something up with what's required for it.

Apparently its 50 hours as commander, command score of 45 in one round + a global K : D ratio of at least 3:1. (on here it says K : D of 1:3 but this just seems wrong as well).

I know people that have had 50 hours as commander, score of 45 in one round before the 2x bonus and a global k: d ratio of 3:1 yet haven't got it.

Anyone have a clue about this? Thanks.

for the country ribbons, it is apprently 250 global hours and 24 hours with either china/mec for the ribbons


for the war college, i am not sure, however the K/D ratio of 3:1 has been disproven. the requirements for this ribbon are unknown

Gee, and the funny part is that Ubar was always supposed to be right.

More and more makes me think that he made the requirements up. Sure, make the requirements correct for what we already know.. and make everything else ridicously high so his fame will last. What gets me, is that the Veteran Knife/Pistol badges are such a small requirement compared to the Veteran/Expert badges for every other weapon.

I don't think I'm going to get 24 hrs using China when I hit 250 hrs total. I'm not a huge fan of the Chinese maps or weapons. Ah well, no Far East Service ribbon for me.


Note: I hope the BF2 expansion has an urban map for China.

I have like 220 hours and have only spent 18 hours as PLA :]] 45 with MEC :S

the kill death ratio has been disproven. someone was found with about a 1.5 K/D ratio who had the ribbon

No, at the time you have to have a 3:1, which is very easy to do as a commander. Then get the ribbon, then you can actually play the game and your ratio then suffers.

Not true, [THC]Hunter-Command got the war college ribbon and two days later his k/d ratio was 1.5 He would've had to have died almost 800 times per day and kill no one to get that ratio that low again. There are also a few people who have met all the requirements ubar claims for war college ribbon and have not gotten the ribbon.
