What is the full name of the G3 unlock?

I do know what the full name is, i judge from the fact that the in game model and image shows this particular gun model.

So just out of curiosity i want to know how many know what the real name is.
Have you fired this gun before?
Do you call it by it's real name in forums and in the game when you are technical?

What country used this gun between 1973 and 1992 as their primary assault weapon? (The country that ordered the largest quantity of cource )

Anything else you know about this gun?

Dont reply with the full name just reply with the technical data you know and if you have used it in real life.
Im just curious and i want everyone to get a fair shot at this :)

H&K also make the MP5, G3, MP5SD and more. next time read his question.

            Moron alert.

I learned the name through Rainbow Six. Never fired the actual weapon before. If the shooting range near me carried it, then I would. But unfortunately, some of us are not so lucky. Can't say it's on my list of things to do before I die, though. =p

I refer to it as the G3 in the forums.

And I don't geek out enough to know what country used it. Though I'd ASSUME Germany considering it's maker.

Oh im sorry. the G3 family is made in Germany of cource but im talking about what country that IMPORTED the most of them and had them in service between 1973 and 1992.

And it's still used in the homeguard of the same country.

Thank you for destroying this one for me...

              And G3 is also a H&K smartass...

I choose to have diffrent kinds of H&K rifles to choose from, thats why i included the sniper rifle and so on...

The G36 is a littlebrother of the G3 family for your info!
Modern version if that sounds eaven better.

Anyone that can answer the other questions?

Germany is not the country im looking for eaven if they have the biggest number of G3 family weapons obviously.

Yeah just copy and paste from your favorite gun reference site
Answer this then Daz: How many part does the mechanism consist of?

                    CKB:

Yes that's correct, the link to Dice Sweden is pretty obvious right?
By the way, Sweden are one of the reasons that the gun is used in the US army and in NATO.

Another thing is that almost any Swede that is or has been in the army has enough basic knowledge to answer all of theese questions pretty easily.
And they all know that the reliability of this gun when fireing blanks is AWFUL.

Some extra goodies for those who actaully know what a Volvo 240 is.
One bullet from this gun can split it's engine block in two.
                    Tested and true.

I will add another question from now on...

What's the rifles name in Sweden. It's known worldwide so it's easy to find out.
