    Shadowing

There's probbably a mllion and one thread about this, but what up with the Shadow Problems with ATI cards. Sometimes they're fine but other times, they are very choppy on the edges.

Mine also has messed up shadows in such a way I don't mind. Basically the shadows just crash through all terrain and buildings.

My GeForce 6800 shows shadows as a HUGE block (yeah, a huge square...). I am still trying to figure this one out...

no, my shadows are fine but some times thers it look like a saw blade, the edges are horrible, and sometimes the shadow arent project they just apeear, it usually happens to the ammmo box on the .50 or the shadow around a dead body.

                  the dynamic shadows right?

yeah on my comp they look ridiculously stupid...all jaggy and weird

on vehicles the shadows get all spastic and jump around alot even when the vehicles are stationary, I ended up turning d. shadows off cuz they're not working out =\

i dont know why people buy radion cards there prone to bugs in most games and shadow hacks etc more than nvidia cards common problem.

Hmmm.. I never noticed with my Geforce 6800 GT. I never even thought about it but I would imagine you would have better visibilty on things with the shadows turned off, am I wrong about that? I've yet to try that.
