Its a bug. We can come up with ******** reason for it happening on a Humvee but when you see an AT rocket go through the side of an APC you know its bug and I have seen this lots.
It does only seem to happen though on vehicles that are very close to you and moving.
Great video. This happens to me at least once a match. Its so frustrating cause it always happens when the guy is driving right at you.
I've also noticed a huge bug with the TOW missles. Sometimes you'll fire one, get out, get back in, go to fire it again...you'll "HEAR" it fire, it'll show it firing in the reload timer, but no missle will actually fire...then of course the tank hits you and you die instantly.

now thats what im on about with the TOW the tank dosnt have to be moveing either for that crap to happen it can be stationary.
solution for you 18zulukiller:Start/parameters/control panel/addremove/ programs/Battlefield 2/remove. here you go! every bug fixed!
That ain't right, I agree with Zulu. I preordered this game, and I've been playing it on and off since it came out, and I just broke 24 hours playtime. WHy? Because of the bugs. I get so fustrated playing sometimes that I just stop. We paid good money for this game and we recieved a subpar game. Ignoring the problems by uninstalling is not going to fix the problem, there is still the issue of $60 wasted. I'll uninstall it when you send me the $60 bucks, then all will be fixed and forgiven.
As far as the OP, I do feel a little better. I was 10 meters away from a blackhawk a few games ago, fired an at rocket at it and watched my rocket go through it. I was really dissapointed because I had ono idea how I could have missed a target that big while being so close.

It's because the rocket passed through the porthole on the APC and out the other one on the other side! Most definitely a feature!
As for the rocket going through class, i dont think its a bug.think of it for a moment: in real life, would a rocket detonate if it got through (even bullet prrof) glass? it would shatter it, obviously, but the graphic engine cant shatter class, so they just made it pass through. as for the rocket that tipped the hull of the humvee i think it might be either a hitbox glitch or that the "detonator" on the rocket didnt pass through (a tad higher, maybe), so it didnt explode.
While not in a jeep, Ive managed to somehow shoot a rocket through the doors of a blackhawk while it was flying. It was extraordinarily irritating and funny at the same time.
This is a bug. My teammates and I have experienced the same thing. Something like the rocket does not manifest until a certain distance away from you or depending on the relative speed of the target to the rocket. Sometimes it works, other times not. Nonetheless, it makes for some inconsistency in gameplay, especially frustrating when trying to take out an oncoming vehicle.
