Is it possible to play local with the same CD-Key? Kind of a pissoff, my dad is really sick into this just as me and i was wondering if we could play together on the same CD-Key?

Dont think so. He might have to buy another BF2 so he can play. If two computers use the same cd key it will say CD key in use or already registered. -
you can use same CD key for LAN but it will be just you and him in the game. If you want to play offline you need to start a single player then have him join IP and type in your IP address. allthough right now that limits you to the 16 person maps.Comment

The license actually allows for 2 people to play on a LAN together using the same key. So not only can it be done technically, it can be done legally too.

nice, just wont be able to play online together..I tried that in DC with no success, used to have my nephew bring his key over so we could edit the game to function online with 2 machines...Comment
