Medic+unlock=rampage

I dunno what you think, but I view the medic's weapon unlock as sweeeeet.
I've come to this conclusion after putting rounds after rounds in enemy bodies :evil: (and some friendly too

Then tell me people, do you feel the same and agree, or are you all completely........ :p

From the stolen kits I've used, I'd say the medic gun is a contender for the next unlock. However, I've recently had the pleasure of using a stolen G3 assualt kit. To say I'm in love with that gun would be an understatement.

i unlocked the medic gun l85 . and i have to say . its the best weapon in my inexperianced hands :) i actually get a few kills now.

I like the gun, but it takes some getting used to if you are new to using it and think it is going to own up close in auto fire.

Very nice for single shot fire. If you time your bullet fire, the enemy will drop at your feet.

I am hoping they patch this weapon to be a tad bit better for autofire use, but not too much. It still has to be a medic "type" of gun that will not be the calibre of the AK or M16.

This gun takes some getting used to. If you do not practice with it, you will think it sucks. It is not for everyone to unlock.

yep, i agree, sweet gun. the only gun that is bad, to a point, is the unlocked Assualt kit gun, it has no gernade launcher, only frag gernades that you throw, no instant hit gernades

it was the first wweapon i unlocked ... when i started with it , it was getting some kills . but after a spell i started getting owned again .. but now that i have figured out how to use it properly ( i think anyway ) im getting more kills again and being able to live longer = more revivals + medic packs on the ground for foot troops .
love the weapon .
next unlock is ages away . thinking about the g3 or what ever its called ( special ops weapon )

The L85 was my first gun, unlocked in hopes that it would be better than the m16 for actual close-in medic work.. I was very disappointed that it turned out to be more of a midrange sniper rifle than an actual useful closer-in defense weapon... If you run out to revive someone and have to kill an enemy with it, you're screwed... If I wanted to snipe, I'd play as a sniper, ya know? If I had my way, it'd be a little less accurate sniper-style and a little more accurate at ranges medics really need (and on auto)...

The G3 compensates in other areas like it's massive damage and extremely high accuracy. You can easily pick someone off with around two shots or three shots. And if you come face to face with someone and have it on auto you're basically guranteed to win.

The G3 has nearly the same power as the PKM and is twice as accurate. However, it takes a long time to get used to it, so at first it may seem like a bad choice. But, if you use it properly, you can take out long-range targets with 3-4 shots. And up close in CQB situations, the only weapon I've found that takes someone down faster is a shotgun or maybe the AK-101. Just have to learn how to use it, and while the frag nades aren't as noobish as the 203's, it sure is nice to be able to throw one onto a roof where you know a sniper is waiting.

I dont care about the auto-fires accuracy, I just hope they make a tiny little bit more powerful, say, 1 or 2 rounds less on average to kill someone.

Thanks for the opinions, but now, what to unlock next.......

Spec ops or Sniper? I haven't played assault for a while now, and I hate the shotgun, preferring a couple of hundret meters of distance between me and the crazed double-barrel engineer:P

I don't see why people keep saying "but it has no grenade launcher" when they talk of the G3. To me, I think the hand grenades you get instead, give you much more versatility. You can lob them onto roofs, bounce them around corners or under trains, etc. For quick, assertive kills at medium ranges the M203 is pretty good I agree, but hand grenades give you more scope I reckon. :) If the M203 could fire timed fused munition as well as its normal type, then it'd be a lot cooler. But it doesn't.

And no, I don't have G3 unlocked ..yet.

I love the L85A1. :) I haven't played BF2 in a really long time though, before yesterday, and yesterday I only played for a very little bit.. I want to play more often.
