I LOL at snipers

I jumped out from a burning chopper and almost at the ground i could se a player climbing the ladder up a pipe nearby (dont remember the name of the map, suck at names, it is a swampy, open and clear one). After landing i went for cover behind a big platform and watched as this sniper positioned himself on top of a platform up there. It was not very high up it was like halfway up. I was an engineer and didnt have any good weapon to take him out and really hated the thought of leaving him there. I messaged to the rest of the team about him so he was visible on the map but there was no one nearby at the moment with better weapons. I drew my pistol and and started shooting at him, not crazy like, but aiming carefully. He reacted by moving a little. He tried to hide but probably the platform was to small to really hide on even though he was lying down. I dont think he knew where i was since he didnt shoot back. Well, i shot at him like 5 or 7 times and finally got the kill on him.

This is not the first time i kill snipers from a distance with small arms, so therefore, i will keep LOLing at u snipers until someone really impress on me.

sniping rocks! (most of the time). You can get lucky with some long range shots but usually i take out anyone who challenges me from long range without a problem

Yeah, that is certainly a sign of a problem. Granted, if he didn't see you, he didn't see you.....but when a sniper loses a shooting match at 500m to ANYONE other than another sniper....that's a problem!

btw, the engineer pistol is sweet! I took down 1.5 guys at about 200m and got the kill assist on the other .5!

I know off course that some of u snipers rocks hard and hit well, but u are also very often nice targets.

For some reason the sniper class has always attracted some of the lessor skilled players. You always find players who play it who have no situational awareness at all. They find their camping spot and then stay there until someone hunts them down and kills them.
I guess if you have really poor FPS skills the sniper class offers you the chance of getting a kill or two on close range targets.

Of course there are plenty of good snipers so thinking all snipers are noob's is wrong but the class does attract more noobs than any other in my experiance.

always fun to sneak up behind a sniper that's on a roof and kill him. then u take his kit place a claymore on the ladder and start sniping and what not. later when he comes back to get back to you he dies cuz of the claymore. so funny. must piss of some alot hehe

i play sniper alot but i always liek finding an enemy sniper and sneaking up behind him and stabbing him in the neck with my knife, lol.
