    Sniping 300meters and beyond

Anyone else have trouble hitting things at 300 meters and beyond? It seems that I can hit whatever pretty easily at 280 meters but for some reason, right when it gets to 300 it hits a whole new level of difficulty. Also, is it just me or does aiming high at someone that is prone help?

How do you tell how far away they are?

I've played for over one hundred hours, and my sniper stats are as follows:

          0 kills, 1 death.
          A total of 8 seconds.

I think I auto-picked it up when I got revived once. To this day I still regret it.

Sniper sucks in this game. If anythin the accuracy when prone and in zoom should be increased. Increase the zoom by like 4 x and add breathing then it would be awesome and in the tweak file up the damage by like 10.

Yeah just like Captain_Obvious said bullets do drop at long distances. I think in BFV it was the same expect those snipers didn't have that long distance so you noticed it all time on even medium shots.

How exactly do you know someone is 300 m away as opposed to 280 m?

For those of you asking how a sniper knows the distance to his target, usually a sniper is sniping a base and the range to the flag is given.

prolly only if your target is standing next to a flag... then you'll know...

The scope definitely needs zoom feature (hopefully in the expansion pack!). It's really hard to be really accurate when your target is ant size at 300 or so meters. You can't really tell exactly where your bullet is gonna hit!... there's a fine line here between shooting really good and being a lucky fluke. just aim a bit above your target's head then hope for the best... lol

me... i just try to snipe near the action when possible... 50 to 100 meters away from targets is almost a sure headshot.
