yeah i think it needs more blood and guts, its not like it has to be over the top just a splash here and there would be nice.

As for the 'suitable for kids' thing well i think its a fairly screwed up set of priorites when people think its ok for kids to play a game thats about killing people and yet they don't think its ok for those kids to see the real repercussions of what happens when you let rip on someone with a machine gun etc.

SOF2 gore would make this game even more incredible!

But even a small bloodsplash would be nice, I'd like to SEE that my bullets actually hit the target - other than the hit indicator lighting up.

well, if there is blood, the whole map will be red... knowing the amount of extremety some maps are... and with that much, the rating will prolly go above and beyond. Imagine Strike at Karkand with blood. plus, i think it'll create lag, cuz there'll be more (textures??)

The addition of blood/blood splatters would be... interesting. However, if people got blown to bits all the time, the Medic kit (revives) would be useless and/or never used - so it's in the game's interest that people don't explode.

SOF 2 gore would rock. Detachable limbs and stuff won't work (or it would be very very very hard to mod in) in BF2, but i think you can get the entry/exit wound to stay on the guy, and i know you can make blood puffs, play BF:E.

Much more realistic when a 3 round burst to the face makes a bit of blood, instead of grey smoke...

Yes its true politicians are dickheads when it comes to video games. They try to regulate them as much as they can. I support Rockstar all the way I think that the hot coffee mod was fine as it was who cares if its just a little bit nudity in there. I wouldn't say America alone is ignorant look at Japan, Austrilia, and other countries that have most GTA titles banned from there country.

Agreed! THey need to add a little bit of gibs and some blood. At least make it a setting that you have to actually change when you install the game.
