At the moment you will have to create a new account and start all over again if you wish to use a different name. Sucks I know, but we are all in the same boat. :)

Have no fear, 3 weeks until we can! v1.03 due out at the end of August includes a fix for this problem, or someway of slightly modifying your name. I'm not sure if a full name change will ever be possible due to GameSpy's service (or lack there of rather).

Agreed, I HATE gamespy. I refuse to use it, thank god for in game browsers and All Seeing Eye.

Ingame browser.....powered by GameSpy (no wonder its so crappy eh?). All Seeing Eye last I checked didn't work with BF2 (unless they updated). There is however a program called BF2 Auto Loader which works very well. Get it from www.bf2al.com

i HATE gamespy. they should have went to gamecenter (something like tht), when they were having the dispute.
